This client from Binfield, Berkshire, was looking to extend their house over the garage to create additional living space on the 1st floor as well as a new family room and study at the rear of the property.
The 3D architectural visualisations of the front and rear views of the house were superimposed onto photos of the original property.
After viewing the initial visuals the client was concerned that the front of the property was not very inspiring and didn’t make an impact. After discussing potential building methods, materials and costs, the extension was half rendered to improve the visual appearance. Another alternative option saw Velux windows added to the rear sloping roof of the family room, this would provide more natural light to that area.
